  • The first meter was installed in 1953.
  • All franks are inscribed “KUWAIT”.
  • The stamps are grouped according to appearance of the frank:
A - Upright or square
B – Horizontal



GROUP A: Franks are square or have upright orientation[edit | edit source]


A1. Neopost (LV-6), 1953.

Upright rectangle with simulated perforation outer border and straight line inner border.
“KUWAIT” at top, “POSTAGE PAID” in ribbon, value figure at bottom center with denomination at sides.
